
A video appeared to show the man hanging from a branch low to the ground in a field near a store. The man, they say, was Hispanic, not Black as some had speculated, and, investigators claim that his family reported that he was suicidal. The man was found hanged outside the store at 9:05 a.m. in the 2500 block of Ella Boulevard, south of Interstate 610 North. Speculation about the man’s death followed two recent incidents in California in which black men were found hanged in public places.
Foul play is not suspected. Investigators are awaiting an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. #hounews
