Two men have been arrested in the 2002 slaying of Run-DMC’s Jam Master Jay murder. Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan Jr. — longtime suspects in the hip-hop pioneer’s execution-style murder in his Queens studio. They are accused of killing Jay, whose real name was Jason Mizell, while trafficking drugs, the sources said.(NY POST). Mizell, known professionally as Jam Master Jay, was a member of 1980s hip-hop sensation Run-DMC, behind hits such as “It’s Tricky” and the Aerosmith remake collaboration “Walk This Way.”The 37-year-old Jay was shot once in the head by a masked assailant, police said at the time. He left behind a wife and three children. Washington, 56, is already behind bars for robbery, while Jordan, 36, was arrested over the weekend.
