Artist On The Rise: J. Champ drops “LIT”

The DMV Movement has just got serious. J. Champ was born and raised in Maryland the sounds of Baltimore club, GoGo and the hard-gritty rhymes of the east coast has heavily influenced J. Champ’s style and lyrics. J. Champ started music in while in the military in Clarksville, TN battle rapping and eventually catching the eye of DEF Jam music execs Showing off his talents in numerous rap battles J. champ manage to remain victorious. Making his way back to the DMV area J. Champ decided to release his awaited mixtape 2nd round to heavy praise.

As luck, would have it Champ ended up being placed in Okinawa Japan where the spark was lit being a member of a music group called the A-team, releasing his album “All hell has broken loose” with the single “Roll Call”. Jay found himself working and performing with the likes of Flo-rida, T-pain, The Yin yang twinz, chingy , the game and more performing in cities and countries like Okinawa, Tapei Taiwan , Brisbane Australia, Tacoma Washington, Portland Oregon and St louis and Las Vegas learning how to polish his craft long the way. Preparing him for moving back to the DMV area as he releases the next his next single with the Help of a D.C legend, D.C. DON JUAN the title track “Lit” promises to turn head all over. Everyone getting ready cause “we lit”.

Applying his experience in the military J. Champ is determined to be great through hard work and dedication to let the music world know he is here to stay. Putting the DMV on the map with the likes of WALE,Bossman,and Shy Glizzy, J. Champ is making it known he is here to stay.
