Police shot and killed Amir Johnson a Pennsylvania man during a confrontation in Ventnor, N.J., in August. Bodycam footage is just being made public which shows a rambling Johnson, potentially suffering a mental or medical health episode, walking erratically on the roadway with a broken bottle in his hand as traffic was stopped and as officers converged on the scene. An officer tried to subdue Johnson with a Taser but it malfunctioned and would not work. No other less lethal means were utilized. Johnson was surrounded and allegedly advanced toward a group of officers and three fired at him. He later died at the hospital.
