Emerging straight out of Baltimore, Maryland, Chad Focus assembles a diverse team of musicians for a hometown anthem about staying positive, staying out of trouble and getting to the money. Troyse balances out the track with his Melodic tone and repetitive chants of “Wasup, Wasup”, as if he’s asking the audience to wake up, smell the coffee and GET to the MONEY. The chorus is fast paced and energetic which allows Cito G and Flames to sprinkle a few good bars in the middle and we have a hit. “Came from the bottom, just a dream that turned into money” is the slogan that Flames uses to express how this whole reality was never supposed to happen in the first place.
