Several hundred people rallied Wednesday against a plan to temporarily close the area in order to remove homeless encampments and clean up an estimated $500,000 in damage.
Tonight drones and helicopters are buzzing and groups of protesters are set up on Glendale and various side streets off the main drag LAPD estimates 200 protesters.
