Goldenvoice, the host of music festivals like Coachella and Stagecoach, is in talks with Riverside County about a potential mass COVID-19 vaccination site. As of January 14, California has 2,859,624 confirmed cases of COVID-19, resulting in 32,291 deaths. The number of COVID-related deaths increased by 2 percent from the prior day total of 31,654.
Projected ICU capacity remains below 15% in the Bay Area, San Joaquin Valley and Southern California regions. which remain under the Regional Stay at Home Order. The order will be lifted for a region once its four-week ICU projection shows a capacity of greater than or equal to 15%.
