JASE ACE Live @ KCAA Radio with @MsLashaunTurner @CalisBestRadio Nov 13, 2019

Jase Ace has been involved with music since the age of 5 when he helped his father rehearse for his part in the off Broadway play of Jesus Christ Superstar and was given a set of conga drums from his father and a drum set from his mother. His passion for drums led him to play for his church as an 11 years old, playing for the young adult choir and youth choir.

In elementary school he was heard singing on the playground by one of his teachers, who urged him to be in the glee club and picked every year by the Compton Boys Choir’s Dr. Clever, when they went around to schools auditioning boys for the choir. The choir performed all over Los Angeles, and on TV for channel 28’s Christmas program. In middle and high school he was often the center of attention for being in rap battles at his school and local schools in Southern California,he visited with his MC buddies to battle other MC’s. He then formed a rap duo named T & J 100 proof, with rap partner To-A-T, which opened for Young MC, and was offered a recording contract. The contract was not signed because both parents of the MC’s felt they were too young.

They soon began dancing for MC Soula who had a single on “We’re All In The Same Game” compilation album. Her video was directed by actor/director, Forrest Whitaker . The video was shown on MTV, BET, VH1, and the Box in regular rotation. It is now on YouTube. SOULA also song background on “You Can’t Play With My YO YO.” The duo toured with SOULA, and opened up for Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, YO YO, and more. After dancing for SOULA, T&J added another member Dove Flex, and formed a group named “Brou Ha Ha,” which was offered a record deal with Virgin Records, and Profile. The group decided to sign with Funky Max Records, a smaller label that would give them more attention than the larger labels. However, after recording an album for that label, it folded and the group disbanded. He produced for SOULA and was the main producer for Brou Ha Ha.

Jase Ace went on the earn a B.A in psychology and attend grad school for psychology as well. After working as a social worker, Jase Ace returned to his first love of producing music. After failing to find, new artist to work with, Jase Ace decided to write, produce and record his own music. For two years Jase Ace honed his craft and perfected his sound. He decided to sing instead of rap and put forth smooth jazz, hip-hop, funk and RnB music for the grown and sexy females, and males who want mature music. Jase Ace has recorded over 100 songs and will try to release most of them in the future to come. Hope you’re down for the ride. His music is meant to inspire our world to move past our flaws and achieve greatness, togetherness, understanding, respect and love for one another. And do it with an amazing sound track for our lives!!!!
