OPINION

Sheriff says don’t call 911 if you support Black Lives Matter( Nevada) Douglas County Sheriff Dan Coverley,  reacted to a proposed diversity statement from the county library by threatening to not respond to their 911 calls anymore. He has subsequently issued a new statement saying he had “perceived that our office may be under attack. “I am passionate about and proud of the work the Sheriff’s Office does for all members of this community’” Coverley said in the written statement issued Tuesday evening by the Douglas County public information officer. “This has been a difficult time to be a law enforcement professional and can be disheartening when we perceive that our office may be under attack.”

#WhatIsaid- UNACCEPTABLE, this is the very mentality these diversity policies are being made for.  I perceive the sheriff has underlying issues. Do we want people like this in charge of Law enforcement? I don’t think so..  (Article credit:NBC)
