Wendy was in the middle of introducing a segment about Halloween costumes when she she began to slur her words and sway back and forth becoming visibly shaken before fainting and passing out. Her eyes appeared to bulge out and she looks to be grabbing for the right side of her head as she hit the floor. Her production crew rushed to her side while sending the show into a commercial break. After the break, Wendy explained she had become overheated in her Statue of Liberty costume and resumed hosting the rest of the show.
The episode looked very scary on live TV and some have speculated that there might be more to this story than being “overheated”.
