Mu’min Muzik recording artist Jean D’eau is a southern lyricist born and raised on the streets of Atlanta, Ga.  The rapper recently released his debut project Who is Jean D’eau? exclusively on MyMixtapez receiving over 20,000 hits within its first week on the site.  His collection of hard-hitting tracks contains features from Ralo, Swift, Louieyski, and Daytona as well as production from The Colleagues, 808 Mafia, Ace Taylor, Track Makaz Beatz, YB, & Whiteboy. The lead single “By the Code”, is getting rave reviews and “See You Win” featuring Ralo was listed on ATL Top 20’s March 2018 hottest records chart.

Jean D’eau’s musical style and sound have been described as a hybrid of T.I.’s southern accent, a flow like Meek Mill with Drake melodies. D’eau credits his song concepts to both his previous street background and his Islamic faith. “I was only 16 when I caught my case so I basically grew up in prison,” he says. “I served 10 years so you can imagine a lot of my subject matter is based on those experiences.”  He recently completed a nationwide tour with fellow Atlanta Muslim rapper Ralo and has created his own independent record label Mu’min Muzik. Being on the road with the entire MuMin Muzik team has allowed him to grow his fan base and reach listeners all over the world. You can see and hear more from Jean D’eau and MuMin Muzik by visiting his website www.whoisjeandeau.com, his YouTube channel and by following him on social media.
